During the two day course, the technician will learn all the details that will provide the knowledge to become a real "Master Technician".
In depth techniques to manage value, chroma and the various translucencies will be demonstrated in every detail!
- First, become a master of different anatomies and tooth forms.
- Second, become a master of managing color
Procedure:
- Diagnostic Wax Up transferring to a perfect framework design
- Injecting the Wax up onto the framework
- Discussing porcelain support, special firing cycles and cooling cycles for zirconia avoiding the chipping issue
- Introduction and live milling with the ZirkonZahn "Eco" milling machine.
- Demonstration of pressing "gingiva and then white".
These units will be pressed with the Aesthetic-Press Zircon ingots to demonstrate the advantages of the system.

Preparation: Each participant will be offered a set of models, including framework. Please bring your own instruments for waxing, porcelain, and grinding.

Instructor: Jörg Müller, MDT
Jörg Müller, master technician and founder of the European Dental Technology Group.
Jörg started his dental apprenticeship in 1983. After finishing his degree as a technician in 1987, he was awarded top dental technician in the county of Rheinland-Pfalz.
Before receiving his degree as a master technician in 1993, he was trained in Jan Langner's Dental Laboratory in Schwäbisch-Gmünd, where he specialized in tooth morphology in function and aesthetics.
During this time, Jörg wrote his first article in the Quintessence magazine, published in Germany, Japan and Spain in March of '92. He later published an article about all-ceram restorations in the German Dental Labor and the Italian Dental Labor in 1994.
In 1993, Jörg opened his first dental laboratory in Düsseldorf while concurrently teaching courses for dental technicians in posterior wax-up, the function of the TMJ, and ceramics.
In 2005, Jörg founded the Press-Master LLC and started to develop the Aesthetic-Press System that would create a standardized, consistent, and high-end procedure to manufacture porcelain crowns with a pressable technique.

Work Schedule:
Day 1:- Introduction/ Slide Presentation 9:00-10:00 am
- Discussing the model & framework design 10:00-10:30 am
- Coffee Break
- Wax up of posterior crown using the OccluMaster wax pattern. 10:45-1:00 pm
- Lunch 1:00-2:00 pm
- Demonstrating the CALLAplus anterior wax patterns. 2:00-2:30
- Waxing of no 8&9 2:.30-4:00
- Review of wax up, spruing technique, investing 4:00-5:00 pm
- Bench Set 15 min, Burn out (45 min) and Press cycles( 25 min) of all rings: overnight
Day 2:
- Review press results 9:00 am
- Fit check and occlusion control 9:30-10:00 am
- Demonstration of different staining techniques and effects.
- Lunch 12:00-1:00 pm
- Final glaze 1:00-2:30 pm
Restorations:
- Tooth No. 13 metal with porcelain margin, no. 8&9 pressed to a zirconia framework.
